This is a great tip if you want to sample at the start of your weaving and then continue, or if your RH can fit a long, multi-item warp on it and you want to remove items as you go along.

House Boat Weaver's Furoshiki, on Weavolution →
A great project for those with RH looms 20” or wider (15” might work, too … I’ll have to think about the geometry of it). The lady used double weave, but a simple plain weave piece would be terrific for this tote bag!

Sandra's Loom Blog: Second Mixed Warp Throw in... →
This is a very interesting description of her warping process, to get symmetric-yet-random stripes and could be used on the Rigid Heddle loom as well (either through a variation of the direct warping that is usually done, or by winding the warp separately as Sandra does here, and then folding it in half and placing both ends on the back rod).

I’ve been waiting for this one since the class (I was there too!) when Elizabeth worked out this method. The resulting scarf is gorgeous!
This is a great example of how “more complex” techniques also apply to the simple, basic, easy, and fun rigid heddle loom!
